first_img Michael Jacobs 1 Wigan Athletic’s latest signing Michael Jacobs says his time at Wolves had run its course.The winger spent time on loan at Blackpool last season before moving to Gary Caldwell’s side and signing a three-year deal.The 23-year-old thanked the fans at the Molineux but admitted the time was right for him to leave Kenny Jackett’s side.“All the best to the boys at Wolves for this season and the future!” Jacobs said. “Really enjoyed my time at the club but was time to move on.“Delighted to have signed for Wigan and looking forward to the season getting underway.”Caldwell added: “He is a potential match-winner on his day and will add terrific competition to the squad, which is now starting to take shape.”last_img
